楊偉國教授團隊首創光電流感應塗層，用於骨科植入物，成功將其與骨骼融合時間由 28 天縮短至僅兩周，速度提升一倍。這項技術透過近紅外光產生光電流，主動調控巨噬細胞分化，減輕急性炎症，創造有利的免疫環境，促進骨骼與植入物融合。此創新有望減少植入物排斥及術後併發症，並計劃應用於膝關節置換等手術，顯著提升患者康復效果。
