Course Objectives

Provide a platform for researchers in biomaterials from Mainland China and Hong Kong to share and showcase latest advancements.
Foster collaboration among academic, research, and industry stakeholders to advance frontier biomaterials and medical technologies.
Encourage discussion on industry trends and support high-quality growth in the biomaterials field.

Target: Researchers engaged in biomaterials-related studies in Mainland China and Hong Kong

Please note that no portion of any of the application fees shall be refundable under any circumstances.

For any participant who registered this symposium, will also be registered to CAB Annual Meeting 2026 automatically.

Admission quota for the symposium is limited. First come first serve. Successful applicants will be notified via email. Official receipt and eCertificate will be sent out after the event.

Abstract title word count: 50 words
Abstract content word count: 500 words
Each submission can submit up to 2 tables / graphics only.

Abstract format: Microsoft Word (.doc)
Please provide your bio in English or Chinese (in 400 words) and your profile picture (in JPEG or PNG) for e-Programme book use.
Submission of abstracts of original research for presentation is welcomed.
Submitted abstracts should not have been published in any local or international journal prior to the Second BJ-HK Symposium on Biocomposite Materials and Chinese Association for Biomaterials Annual Meeting 2026.
Previously presented abstracts that are updated with significant new findings may be submitted.
All abstracts will be reviewed and scored by the Abstract Review Committee. An abstract may be accepted for oral or poster presentation, or it may be rejected.
Abstracts accepted for presentation will be listed/published in the e-programme of the Second BJ-HK Symposium on Biocomposite Materials and Chinese Association for Biomaterials Annual Meeting 2026.

Awards:

Awards will be presented to the most accomplished poster presentations at the 2nd Beijing-Hong Kong Symposium on Biocomposite Materials

Further guideline will be provided upon receipt of the acceptance notice
All presenters must register as a paid delegate before 26 December 2025. Your abstract will NOT be included in the Symposium if you fail to do so.
